New MapInfo Professional Upgrade Policy
August 15, 2007

Pitney Bowes MapInfo allows upgrading to the latest version of MapInfo Professional (currently v9.0) as far back as three major versions (ie. 8.5, 8.0, 7.8).  For example, customers as far back as v7.8 can upgrade to v9.0 for the upgrade price.  This means that customers on version 7.5 or earlier must purchase a new copy of MI Pro v9.0 at the full price - $1995.

A promotion is currently underway that allows users of MapInfo Professional 7.5 or earlier to upgrade their licences until October 1, 2007.  After this time, you will be required to purchase a new full licence to get to the most recent version.  We encourage our clients to take advantage of this promotion.  For those that do, Baseline is offering you a $75 discount off the purchase of an upgrade from v7.5 or earlier to version 9.0 - $1273 ($1348 - $75).
